Pardus is a MMOBG located in a technologically well evolved but from past wars shattered universe one plays an adventurer who -as do many others- travels around in his spaceship and tries to make money and obtain power. There are many ways to accomplish this: Mining raw materials, manufacturing goods in own factories and trading them, carrying out assignments, bounty hunting, plundering buildings, etc. The focus, however, lies on trade, though it is possible to get rich just by doing jobs or vicious piracy.
Great game spoiled by Developer favoratism, 9/7/2005
Reviewer: Phillip Johnson from New York, NY
The mechanics of this game are as brilliant as the well designed and highly detailed graphics employed. The community is great and hours of entertainment can be derrived in the chat and forums without even playing the game.
Unfortunately, the entire system is tainted by favoratism on the part of the developers. The developers are not altogether subtle about giving aid to their favorate alliance(s) in terms of goods, credits (in-game money), and military support (including banning people who attack said alliance). In the end, this creates a tight group of nearly invincible players who can act as they please and undermine all the achivements of even the most determined player. And complaining -- or even asking -- about this favoratism is grounds alone for banishment.
If the developers were more even-handed, then this would be a game you couldn't afford to miss. As is, however, it is one that will only frustrate you in the end.
Great game!, 10/8/2004

For a browser game, this one has great graphics, good economics and a great community (though it is quite new).
